How has lockdown affected your shop? Well, we've got a tiny shop as it is so we just ask people to wait until less than 3 people are in at once. We've begun doing live streams so people can enjoy our sets from the comfort of their own homes!
Tell us a little bit about your store? What's the vibe?
It's a good vibe all round! celebrating and talking about music is always good, the whole thing is a pretty positive experience! Le Freak Records is a daft wee record shop in Dundee that aims not to take itself too seriously. We stock a bit of everything but pride ourselves on our unique dance music selection. We do instore gigs, play Dj sets all around the country and aim to have as good a time as possible whilst we still can!
We're named after a Chic song. Think that sums us up perfectly!
